Authors Guidelines
General Instructions
Manuscripts should be structured as follows: Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements, and References.
- Research Article Length: Research articles should ideally be around 6,000 words (within a range of 4,000–7,000 words), excluding references. It is recommended to include no more than 5 tables and 10 figures per article. Authors may consult the editor if additional tables or figures are necessary.
- Reference Count: A reference count of 25–50 is recommended for research articles.
- Review Articles: Review articles should be approximately 8,000–12,000 words (excluding references), with 8–10 figures and 50–100 references.
Cover Letter
Authors must include a cover letter when submitting the manuscript for the first time. The letter should explain the significance of the research and its relevance to the journal’s scope and readership. The cover letter should be uploaded as a separate file through the online submission system.
Title Page
The title page should include:
- The article title.
- Authors’ names and affiliations.
- The corresponding author’s name, email address, and phone number (for sending proofs and reprint requests).

Manuscript Formatting
- Software: Manuscripts must be created using Microsoft Word. PDF files will not be accepted.
- General Formatting:
- Use single-column formatting, font size 12, and double line spacing.
- Include line and page numbering.
- Use A4 paper size (21 × 29.7 cm) with 2.54 cm margins on all sides.
- Left-align text; do not justify paragraphs.
- Use spell-check and grammar-check tools.
Authorship Information
The following information must be included:
- Full names of all authors.
- Complete institutional addresses.
- Corresponding author’s email address.
- ORCID IDs of authors (if available).
Article Title
- The title should be concise and clear.
- Use plain text, font size 16, and avoid symbols like “&” and non-standard abbreviations.
Abstract
- The abstract should be 200–250 words.
- It should be self-contained and free of citations.
- Include the purpose, methodology, results, and conclusions.
- Write in the third person (not first person).
Keywords
- Provide 5–7 keywords after the abstract, separated by commas.
- Each keyword should start with a capital letter.
- Avoid repeating words from the title or using abbreviations.
Introduction
- The introduction should be concise and provide background information on the research topic, along with the study’s objectives.
- Support the introduction with recent and credible references.
Headings and Formatting
- Number sections and subsections as follows: 1, 2, etc., and 1.1, 1.2, etc.
- Use font size 12 (Times New Roman) for main headings and size 11 for subheadings.
Figures, Tables, and Equations
- Figures and tables must be editable in Word.
- Figures should have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.
- Each figure or table must have a clear title and description.
- Avoid including unnecessary images or tables.
Materials and Methods
- Provide sufficient details to allow the experiments to be reproduced.
- Use international standard units.
- Specify the software used for statistical analysis or simulations.
Results and Discussion
- Focus on original results and compare them with previous studies.
- Avoid repeating data.
Conclusion
- The conclusion should highlight the novel findings and key takeaways.
- Avoid repeating the introduction or abstract.
Acknowledgements
- Acknowledge individuals or organizations that contributed to the research.
- Mention funding sources, if applicable.
References
- References should be numbered in ascending order and cited in square brackets (e.g., [1]).
- Follow the APA referencing style.
- Include DOIs if available.
Conflict of Interest
Authors must declare any potential conflicts of interest upon manuscript submission.
Revised Submission
When submitting a revised manuscript, include:
- A marked-up copy of the manuscript with tracked changes (using Word’s “Track Changes” feature).
- A clean copy of the revised manuscript.
- A detailed response to reviewers’ comments.
Proof Correction
After acceptance, a PDF proof is sent to the corresponding author for correction. Proofreading must be done carefully, as no further corrections will be allowed after the final submission.
Change of Authorship
Requests to add or remove authors can be made before acceptance and publication. Such requests must be submitted using a signed form and approved by all authors.
