Cover Letter Guidelines for Manuscript Submission

A cover letter must accompany all manuscript submissions to the Journal of Educational and Psychological Research (JEPR). Authors may either: (1) input the cover letter directly into the submission system, (2) paste the text into the designated field, or (3) upload it as an independent attachment.

The cover letter must encompass the following components:

  1. Introduction: A concise justification for the manuscript’s alignment with the scope and aims of JEPR, explicitly highlighting the study’s contribution to educational or psychological research.
  2. Resubmission Documentation(if applicable): For manuscripts previously rejected by JEPR, provide the prior manuscript ID, a point-by-point rebuttal to reviewers’ comments, and written approval from the original handling editor.
  3. Originality Declaration: A clear attestation that the work is neither published nor under consideration elsewhere, in whole or in part.
  4. Supplementary Materials: A brief description of any supporting data or additional files submitted alongside the manuscript.
  5. Invited Submissions: If the manuscript is solicited (e.g., for a special issue, conference, or forum), this must be explicitly stated.

For a standardized format, authors are advised to consult the JEPR Cover Letter Template.
