Soft Skills and Their Relationship to Psychological Resilience among Middle School Students

The research aims to identify soft skills and psychological resilience among middle school students. It also seeks the correlation between soft skills and psychological resilience. To achieve these objectives, the researcher utilized the soft skills scale developed by Jalal (2024), which comprises 30 items; he also developed a scale of 24 items to measure psychological resilience. These tools were administered to a randomly selected sample of 300 male and female middle school students. The findings revealed that middle school students have soft skills; there are no statistically significant differences in terms of gender. Similarly, students demonstrated psychological resilience without gender-related disparities. Moreover, a significant positive correlation is found between soft skills and psychological resilience.
